We have done 3 races the first day. the wind was between 11 and 15 knots, I
was on 8.2 vapor with the manta 80 and it was great! I had really good
feeling and speed in all small gusts!
I won 2 race in front of florent renard (pryde/jp - rookie of the year pwa
2006) and finished 2 in the other one after a bad start and a 7 position at
the first mark...
The day after the wind was stronger and I took my 6.5 with the manta 67...
My main concurrent on this event was florent and I managed to have some nice
start for jibing the first mark in lead....it was a really good day with
some nice actions between good riders...I won again 2 races!
after that, now I have to take my plane for the pwa in Korea and I
miss the last day of racing...and the first place on the general ranking...
whatever it was a great test event before the international event....

PWA KOREA SLALOM 42
I have been in Korea for the first event in slalom of this new year.
After a long trip with Antoine albeau and julien quentel, we arrived in
ulsan a small city in the south -est cost of Korea,
The day of registration the wind was really strong (around 30 knots) and it
was not easy to registered the good size of sail (we can use only 4sail and 2 production board on each events)
We have done 6 race in good conditions of wind (between 10 to 20 knots on
flat water)
I used only the 8.2 and sometimes the 7.6 on the manta 67...it was a great
combo when the wind is stable and more than 15 knots!
The general level of the fleet is more height than the past year, everybody
trained hard during the winter and 10 guys can finish on the podium in each
event!
For me it was the beginning of a new season in which I hope to learn a lot...I finished 14!
I hope to do to my best with my 22 years old against all the experimented
old guys from the tour!
Now I will go to the big and famous French event: the defi wind with 700
riders!
