The Tabou new age slalom board - super short, wide style. The Manta was designed to increase the average speed over a distance consistently higher than a conventional slalom board. This increased average board speed is partially achieved by the Manta’s wide style short outline that reduces nose lift with a higher rocker line in the front and makes the board plane easy through chop.

This board has a deep double concave into the front section of the bottom shape that has an effective chop smoothing effect. Combine the wide front outline that allows you to carry big sails with a narrow tail that gives you the top end speed and you have a winner – the Manta is ideal for slalom or speed.
Special consideration for on board sailor comfort has been given to make the deck shape ergonomically easy to use so you do not get tired during long distance and slalom adventures.
